"And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23
MATTHEW 16:16-26; MARK 8:30-37; LUKE 9:21-27
Self-denial is an important part of the Christian life. Jesus sacrificed His life for us and He demands that we die to ourselves that we might experience the new life He has provided. We do this first by recognizing that we can't save ourselves by our own effort and, second, by trusting God - not self - for salvation. Then daily, we need to deny our own wisdom and seek God's wisdom and direction for our lives.
Self-denial is only good when we are denying ourselves for the singular purpose of exalting Jesus and His will for us in some area of our life. Some have made a religion out of self-denial and find pleasure in their denial - not in Jesus' Lordship. This leads to legalism and bondage, which Paul condemned as will worship (Col. 2:23). We are told not only to deny ourselves, but to "deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus."
The cross is what Jesus died on. There are circumstances in our lives which, like the cross of Jesus, give us the opportunity to die to ourselves each day. These are not things like sickness, poverty, etc., for which Jesus' atonement provided redemption, but rather things like persecution (which we are not redeemed from) and the constant battle between our flesh and our born again spirit. The cross that we must bear is to take God's Word (which is His will) and exalt it above our own will in each situation every day. "Enjoy Your Coffee" by Andrew Wommack
There are quite a number of ways to generate business opportunity leads yourself. You can use tried and tested direct offline marketing means such as telemarketing, direct mail marketing, advertising, distributing flyers, community marketing and advertising. You can use online marketing campaign such as social networking, email marketing, video advertising, search engine marketing, paid ads, etc.
But then there aren't many businessmen who know how to do each one of them, has the time to do each one of them, or would want to be doing each marketing campaign.
Many would rather spend money on hiring an agency that will generate business opportunity leads for them so that they can concentrate on other important aspects of their business. If you are this kind of person, then hiring a business opportunity leads agency would probably be an excellent option.
Actually, all businesses can benefit from hiring agencies to help them generate business opportunity leads. This is because through agencies, businesses can connect with different networks of people beyond their reach. Also, businesses can only lead up to a certain point that they have to seek help from other businesses to continue selling and expanding.
On the part of start-up businesses, agencies that sell business opportunity leads should be utilized right away to reach more people and expand quickly.
Lead generation plays a crucial role in marketing success regardless of the kind of business you have. The equation is simple: More leads equals more prospects; more prospects equals higher rate of conversion; and higher rate of conversion equals more sales and more money for your business. Basically, this is the reason you are doing business. Why not utilize whatever help you can to generate more sales?
Essentially what I'm really talking about here is leverage. If you are able to assign opportunity lead generation to an entire agency, obviously this will allow you to concentrate on any areas of your business that may have been neglected or areas of your business that you feel you have better expertise in.
Of course before picking an agency to find leads for you, make sure to do your due diligence as there are thousands of business opportunity lead agencies out there online and off. All clamouring for your business, although not all with the best intentions. Finding a reputable one shouldn't be to difficult though since there are millions of people on various forums and in various chatrooms that you can query. "Enjoy Your Coffee"
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18
Some people have mistakenly interpreted this passage to say that Peter was the foundation on which Christ would build His Church. However, that would violate many scriptures that refer to Jesus as the "chief cornerstone."
Ephesians 2:20 does mention the apostles as being part of the foundation stones of Christ's church, but it doesn't single Peter out above any of the other apostles, This same scripture once again mentions Jesus as the "chief cornerstone."
There are two different Greek words used for "Peter" and "rock" respectively in verse 18. The word used for "Peter" means "rock" but signifies a piece of rock like a pebble. In contrast, the word translated as "rock" signifies a massive rock which certainly refers to Jesus, the "chief cornerstone." Some have suggested that the foundation rock referred to was confession that Peter made saying that Jesus was "the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Mt. 16:16). Although it is true that, to enter God's kingdom, we do have to confess that Jesus is Lord (Rom. 10:9-10), in light of the Old Testament prophecies and New Testament references to Jesus being the "chief cornerstone," this passage of scripture must be referring directly to Jesus as the "rock" upon which He will build His church.
One of the greatest differences between the New Testament believer and the Old Testament believer is the fact that New Testament saints are the temple of God. God Himself actually indwells us. God does not dwell in a building made by man's hands. He now lives in the hearts of those who make Jesus their Lord (Rom. 10:9). The cornerstone of our lives in God must be an ever-increasing revelation of His Son. If we had a real understanding of the reality of Christ in us (Col. 1:27), it would drastically change our attitudes, emotions, and actions. "Enjoy Your Coffee" by Andrew Wommack
Advertising is the art of promoting the sales of goods or services based on a market selection. It is affected through various media, particularly through newspapers, magazines, radios and T.V. services and bill boards along the highways. Advertising affects the market in one way or another. Expenditures on advertisements amount to large sums of money and they are rising every year.
The fact that expenditures on advertising are increasing from year to year indicates that advertising is important to market a product or services. As a country becomes more industrialized and as competition in business becomes keener for the firms, marketing strategy through advertising will become more important and expenditures on advertising will rise.
Advertising is regarded as "the life-blood of marketing" simply because it gives information to prospective consumers of the goods or services which are made available in the market. It tells a group of selected market of the existence of a new product or of new uses for or new or better qualities of an existing product, or reminds a market of the existence of a product. Without such information given through the various advertising media, the prospective market may not be aware of the existence or the uses of a product and the producer may not be able to sell it. A product that is not sold or cannot be sold is of no value to the producer and to the selected market. Therefore, it is obvious that informative advertising is very important to a firm or to an industry and is also important to consumers and the market at large.
Generally, advertising as practiced by most firms is competitive rather than informative in motive. This is particularly true where there is a great deal of product differentiation brought about by the practice of branding a product. A firm advertizes mainly because it wants to push the sales of its products. When its products are differentiated from the products of other firms by just its brand, then it hopes to increase the sales of its branded products to their selected markets. It can do so by marketing, through advertising techniques, to create a special image for its brand of products and to build up brand loyalty for its products to a given markets.
Once customers' loyalty for its brand of products is established, the demand for its products will be less price-elastic and it is able to make some monopoly profits to a given specified markets. Competitive advertising, as we can see, is wasteful. Experts may tell us that there is no real difference, physically or chemically, between different brands of a product.
Whatever difference there may be between two brands is strictly psychological in nature built up through large sums of money spent on marketing through advertising campaigns. It can, therefore, be argued that the consumers would benefit more if firms spent less on competitive advertising and passed on their savings to consumers in the form of lower prices or in the form of genuinely better quality products obtained through more research which could be made possible with savings from unnecessary marketing activities.
However, it can be counter-argued that competitive advertising may not be a waste after all, because very often a consumer derives extra satisfaction from owning or consuming a widely-advertized product. Since he obtains more satisfaction, the higher price which he has to pay for the product because of the advertising is, therefore, justified.
Further, it can be pointed out that because of the large amount of revenue from marketing activities through advertising, newspapers and magazines are sold more cheaply to readers and they are within the reach of more people and, further, radio and T.V. stations are able to produce or buy better or more programs. Also, the advertising industry itself gains with more jobs created for the market community.
In conclusion, it can be said that one cannot deny that marketing trough advertising is the life-blood of industry. But it is really difficult to conclude that it is a waste of economic resources because much depends on one's judgment of what is good or bad for the society. This should help with your advertising. One represents the spiritual, the other the material.
Between the eternal, and the temporal
One choice offers a life of peace and purpose.
The other choice leads to a life of self-centeredness and emptiness.
God's Word makes the choice clear:
"The person who vacillates [between faith and unbelief] is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind; for let not that individual be supposing that he will receive anything from the… Lord, [being] a dubious, undecided man, vacillating in all his ways." (James 1:6b-9 – Wuest Translation)
Actually, you and I have already made our choice — either by:
Eternal life leading to heaven, or eternal death leading to hell.
In making decisions of a spiritual nature, the battlefield is not the intellect, but the will.

There are many ideas for marketing your business that you'll find all over the Internet, from your friends, and from your colleagues. And many of them will work, too. The problem with asking people like that for help with your marketing ideas is that they're going to be biased based on what was good for THEM, not what will be good for you.
In this article, I'm going to show you 3 easy to implement ideas for marketing your business. These will work for both online and offline businesses. The best part about these ideas for marketing your business is that not only will they get people looking at your website, they'll also bring targeted visitors. After all, I'd much rather have 10 targeted visitors than 100 visitors who aren't targeted!
With that said, let's get right into it.
1) Article Marketing - As you can see right now, you are reading an article from me. It's obvious that you're interested because you're still reading. The best part about article marketing is that not only does it give you more credibility, it can also be done very easily and the visitors you get are extremely qualified.
If you spend just one hour, or even 30 minutes, per day writing articles... you'll eventually develop a very constant flow of new visitors to your site. And those visitors are some of the most highly targeted visitors you can ever find!
2) Integration Marketing - One very little known idea for marketing your business is something I like to call integration marketing. This simply means that you're integrating with somebody elses business to get in front of the other person's readers. Why is it so effective?
Because if they have a great relationship with that other person, they're going to instantly trust any recommendation that person gives. It's like you telling your friends about a great movie! There are many ways to do this... one of the simplest ways is to give away a valuable piece of content to other people's products when they sell them.
3) Guest Blog Posts - The last great idea we'll cover today is writing guest blog posts for people in your industry who aren't direct competitors. This is a very, very easy way to get quick traffic that's highly targeted since they're already reading a blog post by someone in your industry. Plus, you get the transferred credibility of the other person.
Another great aspect of this is that it results not only in big spikes of traffic when the article goes live, but also trickles of traffic if that blog post starts ranking for certain keywords in the search engines. Plus, if you write good articles and can get a regular column, you can become an established leader in your field very quickly!
As you can see, these are only 3 great ideas for marketing your business. While that might not seem like a lot, most of the time it's better to focus on just three ideas to market your business instead of trying to do 20 different activities at once. I hope these ideas for marketing your business have helped you, and I hope you'll use them! "Enjoy Your Coffee"

Due to a recent ruling by the Supreme Court, I am told that saying a

I can use it to condone sexual promiscuity, by dispensing condoms and

I can even use this public facility to present the merits of killing an

and call it "ecology.."
I can use literature, videos and presentations in the classroom that
depicts people with strong, traditional Christian convictions as "simple

However, if anyone uses this facility to honor GOD and to ask HIM to Bless

Hope everyone's doing okay. I'm just back from a weekend trip with a couple High School Buddies on a Golf Course in Montgomery Alabama. Turned 51 on Saturday, don't feel any older, just know that I am. We'll talk a little today about paid traffic, and the advantages and dis advantages with it.
Like all traffic techniques you employ, there is going to be a learning curve to mastering paid traffic resources. Tactics that are paid can be costly when done incorrectly. In most cases you should wait on these until such time as you can actively afford to lose money during the trial and error stages.
There are some traffic generation tactics out there which can be considered extremely effective for bringing targeted traffic to you, however they will cost you. These traffic creation techniques below are all paid advertising methods.
Many new marketers will try out these options without understanding precisely what they are up against with paid traffic sources. Beware of paid sources until you have mastered other traffic strategies.
PPV - These are Paid Per View ads. This type of advertisement is commonly seen as a pop-up or pop-under window. These are almost never thought of by many marketers. They can be extremely effective in driving considerable niche traffic to your offers. These can be at a considerable savings over other paid options as many marketers are not implementing this strategy the costs to advertise are not excessive.
Most vendors offering PPV advertisements will have the means for you to target your ads to specific demographics. This means that your offers are being seen by those people who are highly interested and searching for topics in your markets, as compared to people who simply "Came across your market".
SOLO-ADS - Solo advertisements are similar to emails ads or ad-swaps, with the exception that you are paying someone to send out your e-mail advertisement to a known list. Also referred to as Safe-Lists, these ads are sent to users who have agreed to receive e-mails that knowingly contain advertisements.
Because these lists are maintained based on specific niches and often include those who are highly interested in that topic, these can be a great traffic source. The only drawback is you must have a compelling offer and use a responsive safe-list. Some lists could have abused or worked-over so much as to decrease their effectiveness. Find a good safe-list is key to this tactic.
CLASSIFIEDS - Another tried and true method of traffic generation. Classified ads appear everywhere. Just look at any magazine's back section and you will likely find at least a few pages for classified ads. People reading those publications search those ads to find topics they are in need of. These can be targeted to online and offline publications which means you can gain a good foothold in many households with a single classified campaign. "Enjoy Your Coffee"
Good Morning All,
Jesus made it abundantly clear that you and I are to think globally:
"Go and make disciples of all nations… You shall be My witnesses… to the ends of the earth."(Matthew 28:19a; Acts 1:8b)
As a business or professional person, you are uniquely positioned to help fulfill The Great Commission in three ways:
It takes money to get the message of the Cross to the ends of the earth. If God has given you the gift of making money (Romans 12:8), then you have a unique opportunity and responsibility to distribute resources toward His causes.
The late Dr. Richard C. Halverson wrote:
"There is a greater problem than need — Greed! — Commendable as it may be, compassion for the hungry and starving is not the best we can do — as long as we give simply out of our abundance, and allow such giving to justify continuing acquisition beyond our needs… "
It has been estimated that by the year 2000, 85% of the world's lost lived in countries closed to traditional missionary entry. The only other means of personal "access" is through the business and professional person.
Today, most developing countries are crying out for the kind of expertise you possess. But this is big league stuff, so only those possessed of courage, vision, know how, and determination need apply.
Because the majority of the developing countries still recognize the West for its advanced expertise, you as a business or professional person have leverage to influence.
SO HERE IS THE QUESTION: ARE YOU A PAROCHIAL OR WORLD CHRISTIAN?"
One acid test in answering that question is to take a hard look at the ledger in your checkbook. Does the pattern of your check-writing over the past several months reflect a person possessed with a PAROCHIAL OR WORLD PERSPECTIVE?
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matthew 6:21)

Facts of the Matter: Daily Devotionals.
For the past year I have been personally meeting one-on-one with a man who has a reputation in the Christian community as a "SUCCESSFUL CHRISTIAN BUSINESSMAN."
I can remember on many occasions leaving our times together feeling God was wonderfully changing our lives, only to learn recently from outside sources that his marriage is in crisis, and his business practices are notoriously unethical and exploitive of others.
I have also become aware that sincere Christian friends have attempted to approach him over these issues only to be rebuffed by acrimonious, self-justification.
Yet in certain Christian circles this "SUCCESSFUL CHRISTIAN BUSINESSMAN" is known to be generous with his time and resources for the cause of Christ.
What is going on here? Why the contradictions?
The issue is "IMAGE": Here is a man who desperately wants to be viewed around town as a "SUCCESSFUL CHRISTIAN BUSINESSMAN". Therefore:
Maintaining a certain public image is more important than any serious quest for holiness.
By his actions, it has become obvious that he loves the "praise of man more than the praise of God."(John 12:43)
In retrospect, what was lacking in our times together was:
So, what motivates you: The pursuit of holiness or maintaining your public image?
